In other words, life is not easy.
Life is confusing.
And, yeah, the Bible is ALSO confusing.
But the cool thing about the Bible is the more you understand it, the more
life
makes sense.
TeenCulture is here to guide and empower the next gen of coming adults in understanding God and the Bible and how to navigate life in a world that opposes both.
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2
Grab your lawn chairs and grab your fam and come on out to a night of worship, cornhole, food, fire pits, and community together as one big family. Let the fire for Christ burn bright and, for those with teens (or if you are a teen yourself), discover our new TEENCULTURE nights starting the very next day!
We’re here to help guide the next adults, to listen to them and answer their questions.
To help them realize their worth in Christ and help equip them for whatever future God has in store for them.
Teenagers from Grades 7th through 12th.
Sunday nights from 5:30PM to 7:00PM.
At the church, 40 E. Lorraine St., Peck, MI 48466 (we’ll announce if meeting place changes)
When CrossCulture first started in 2015, Tiffany started out on our worship team, PraiseCulture, which she still leads today. Since then she has been an Outreach Pastor, manager of the CrossCulture Ministry Center, Kid’s Church teacher, and is now the Teen Pastor.
Her Jeep, fishing, singing, chasing storms, taking serious and dramatic photos, sports, kayaking, and Jesus.
Contrary to the popular belief about red heads, Tiffany DOES have a soul–and it’s on fire for Jesus, even more so than her fiery head.
Not to be confused with Pastor Surbrook II (CrossCulture’s lead pastor). Daniel like his sister, Tiffany, has also been involved in CrossCulture since its inception. He is our Tech Pastor who edits the sermons for online, operates the social media, does the graphics and web design for everything (he worked very hard on this site.) He is now assistant in Teen ministry to Tiffany.
Drawing cartoons and comics and videos, making Halloween costumes, pizza, working out, church, forgetting to do laundry, music, drives down back roads, collecting movies, and Jesus.
[Insert something fun or interesting here, like the time you went to space and stopped that asteroid, or the time you discovered Atlantis and renamed it Danlantis.]

Faith is a fire that should never be snuffed. In this distracting world, that fire is hard to keep alive.
We want to stoke those flames. Just like how a campfire needs fuel and attention to keep on burning…
…we want to teach teens how to read the Word and use what they’ve learned to navigate life and burn bright.

Light it up and keep it burning.

Learn to swim…or better yet? Walk on water!
Dark waters threaten to drown us. Learn to keep your head above water, eyes on Christ, to weather through the storms. If you keep you eyes on Him, the waves will pass right under you.
Keep breathing.
God made man by breathing in him. Breath means life. Jesus is the Breath of Life. When things seems impossible and life beats you down, sometimes you just need to shut up, take a breath, and listen to what God has to say.
Standing ground on a firm foundation.
The world says “do this,” or “that’s wrong,” or “you’re weird for thinking that.” God has laid out a foundation for us to stand upon. We want to strengthen that footing and trust that solid rock we stand upon, even as the rest of the world crumbles around us.
We can eat it now.
What do you mean “NOW”? We couldn’t before? Wanna know why? Come to TeenCulture and ask us! (preferably Pastor Daniel)
